I’m so impressed with this vest!! I purchased to wear over a button down. I was so excited when I received it that I had to try it on right away. Don’t mind the joggers. Lol I didn’t expect that it would also be a piece I could wear alone! Love the versatility! I will wear this all the time. Quality fabric, very soft. Great fit and style!! So many possibilities.
I liked the vest just wish I would have gotten a small for a more snug fit.
This vest seems nicely made. The back has elastic. The amount of stretch could allow smaller busted ladies to go down a size. Buttons are fully functional.
I am 5’7”, about 170 lbs, with measurements of 38-30-42. I ordered a large. The vest fits a bit big on me which makes me think I could possibly go down a size if I were going to only wear the vest as a top without another shirt under it.
I specifically ordered this so that I could wear it with a long sleeved white blouse and black skirt for the Christmas holidays. I know that sounds a little like Mrs. Claus, but I like traditional stuff like that around the holidays. It fit exactly as expected. There is some room for forgiveness, as the back is elasticized and so is the piece that fits over the head/neck. I will probably not wear this for anything other than the holidays as it is not my typical style. I am sure someone with a stylistic flair could turn it into a very mid 90’s themed cute vintage waistcoat look. For care, I don’t expect it would come out of the wash looking so great unless you ironed it. It is a polyester blend that looks a lot like a cotton blend.
I was so pleased with the quality of this and how it fit. I have plans for a gender-bent Joker cosplay, and this will be a perfect addition to that. Size large, which is what I usually get for tops, fit perfectly for me (I'm 5'2" and about 160 lbs.) and I appreciate that there was elastic qualities for both the neck and back portions. Meant that it was comfortable and able to fit a variety of body sizes. I'm looking forward to building the rest of this costume!
